Playing & Coaching Experience:

Irene competed for the USA Beach Volleyball National Team on the FIVB, AVP and NORCECA Tours from 2014-2019.  While traveling across six continents, Irene represented USA in 43 tournaments and finished in the Top 10, twenty-one times while medaling in eleven events and winning gold in three tournaments. On the AVP tour, she competed in 30 tournaments and finished in the Top 10 in twenty of them, including three appearances in the semifinals.  

Before her transition to beach full-time, Irene played professionally indoors for two years in Switzerland and Poland. She competed for the TCU Volleyball team from 2007-2011. In 2009, Irene helped lead the Frogs to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance while leading the team in points, kills, aces and earned All-Conference honors multiple years.

As a coach, in 2018 Irene was the Volunteer Assistant on the UCLA Beach Volleyball staff under then Head Coach Stein Metzger (current UT Head Coach) and Associate Head Coach Jenny Johnson-Jordan (current UCLA Head Coach) where they won the NCAA Beach Volleyball National Championship.

It can provide you with countless opportunities, relationships, and life lessons. My goal is to help the next generation experience all of those things. I am very excited and thankful for this opportunity at Game On. I can’t wait to help grow beach volleyball in Fort Worth and for the athletes to have this amazing facility to train at!"

Coaching Experience

Gabby is thrilled to be apart of & help build the foundation of Game On beach volleyball’s culture! Gabby’s goal is to successfully guide young athletes in the right direction by helping them navigate challenges and discover their true potential, physically and mentally. Gabby brings a dynamic and energetic approach to coaching, drawing parallels between the teamwork, strategy, and determination required in beach volleyball and personal development. She is excited to bring her knowledge & experience to Game On Beach!

Playing Experience

Gabby was introduced to beach volleyball after trying out for her indoor school team in seventh grade (2009). Although she played indoor first, she soon realized her passion was for Beach. So much that it became a goal of hers to play collegiately. Gabby played at the University of Louisiana at Monroe from 2016-2020. Gabby still loves to compete and play in local tournaments whenever she can to continue her love and passion for the game!
